"Change the world - it needs it," demands Bertolt Brecht. Today, 50 individuals possess as much wealth as the marginalized half of humanity. Do we really want to live in such a world and continue to endure the cannibalistic world order in which the oligarchs of globalized financial capital rule over hundreds of millions of people living in misery? Or would it not be better to fight for a planetary civil society where human rights and the right to self-determination of peoples are upheld, and where justice and solidarity with the weakest are practiced?
