Product details

In the organizations where we work on consulting projects, we are currently experiencing profound restructuring processes. At the same time, concepts are emerging that like to label themselves as new, if not 'radical.' The self-promotion of these new concepts, along with their simplification through continued, secondary propagandistic repetition, may provide some orientation for seekers. However, for those who have been in the field for a while, certain things may seem familiar. Additionally, the awareness that management concepts are subject to cyclical economic trends allows for a different weighting of the nature and extent of the new ideas. Whether this is justified or not, and if so, in what respect, certainly invites discussion. The form of engagement with these new concepts is rooted in a tradition, as we, the Austrian Society for Group Dynamics and Organizational Consulting (ÖGGO), continuously reflect on the development of the training and consulting profession through symposia. The resulting practice reports and theoretical discussions are made accessible to a broader audience through publications. In the broadest sense, this includes all those who, from various structural starting points (management, internal and external consulting), are committed to the development of organizations.
