At her international private school, Alice Sun has always felt invisible, the only scholarship student among the offspring of the rich and beautiful in Beijing. But then she realizes that she can actually become invisible.

When her parents can no longer afford the tuition fees despite the scholarship, Alice devises a plan to monetize her new talent. Unfortunately, she needs the help of Henry Li, the model student and her biggest rival. He develops an app for her that allows her classmates to book Alice anonymously for tasks where being invisible is quite helpful. As Alice uncovers some scandalous secrets and finds Henry less annoying, the assignments become increasingly questionable, and she must decide how far she is really willing to go.
