With the 10th edition of the fine catalog, gain an overview of the current legal situation to provide your clients with legally secure advice. Since the previous edition, several legal changes in fine law have come into effect, particularly the 2020 Road Traffic Act reform, which has led to intense controversies and legal uncertainties that were only recently resolved in 2021 through an agreement between the federal and state governments. The new fine catalog takes these recent developments into account and includes, among other things: • Newly established fine offenses (e.g., unauthorized parking in spaces designated for electric vehicles and car-sharing vehicles), • Increased fines (e.g., for illegal parking and stopping, failing to create a rescue lane, car posing).
