The author Luca Tortolini lives in the small Italian town of Macerata. He is a writer and screenwriter. In addition to writing, he is involved in education and promoting reading.

The illustrator Marco Somà was born in 1983 in Cuneo, Italy. He studied painting and illustration and is an illustrator for children's and young adult books. He also teaches painting techniques and comic drawing at the art school. His works are regularly selected for the Bologna Children's Book Fair and the yearbook of the Associazione Italiana Illustratori.
