Cappuccino for three
German, 2017Product details
A trick, as the Italians call it, is a refined scheme used to rob tourists of their belongings. When Katharina and Billie, two businesswomen from Freiburg, get into their convertible after a wonderful meal in Montecatini Alto, a boy hammers a nail into the car's body. They almost catch the little culprit, but then they have to watch as the bright red Alfa zooms past them. The car, handbag, documents, money—everything is gone. The Carabinieri show little interest in the case. Only Alessandro, an Italian who worked for many years in Bremen, stands by Katharina's side when Billie has to return to Freiburg. Their joint detective work yields results. It takes Katharina some time to realize that they also make a good team on a personal level. Alessandro takes Katharina on a wonderful journey of discovery through the area.
