Ça va, cher Karl?

Sébastien Jondeau and Karl Lagerfeld met in 1999. For the young man from a humble Parisian background, it was a dream come true: from then on, he would never leave the fashion designer's side. Jondeau becomes driver, bodyguard, assistant, confidant, close friend. Lagerfeld opens up a world to him that he, the working-class child from a Parisian banlieue, would otherwise never have known: he flies with him in private jets, to the important fashion shows in New York, Milan, Paris, accompanies him to his luxury villas and gets to know the international celebrities. Lagerfeld becomes a father figure for Jondeau, a role model he accompanies until his death in 2019 - and who leaves a big gap in his life.
In "Ça va, cher Karl?" Jondeau remembers their years together - and tells full of honesty, admiration, humility, but also with humor and heart about a person he was closer to than anyone else.
