The American Byron Katie has developed a method by which every person can use the judgments they make about their outside world as a means of self-knowledge: "The Work", a system for attaining inner and outer freedom. It essentially guides everyone to remember the situations, characteristics and people that we dislike the most. These "rejections" form our shadow. "The Work" helps us to integrate this shadow and thus develop our full potential.
