The Product Safety Act (PrSG) ensures the safety of essentially all products and serves to protect physical integrity. The law applies to all individuals who come into contact with a product, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, which gives it significant practical relevance. This work serves as a tool to determine who is obligated under the PrSG, what duties and requirements must be fulfilled regarding the marketing of products, and what administrative, criminal, and civil law consequences arise from a violation of the PrSG.
