Sent

The local book "Sent" presents in its first part the geography of the former municipality of Sent, which has been a fraction of the municipality of Scuol since January 1, 2015. It covers not only the geological conditions but also the terrace of Sent, the Lower Engadine Dolomites, and the valleys of Uina, Sinestra, and Fenga. The second part follows the historical developments chronologically from the Mesolithic period to the aforementioned merger. The third part, titled "The People," is thematically structured and showcases the many facets of a village community, while also featuring short biographies of countless residents of Sent, the most famous of whom are undoubtedly Peider Lansel and Not Vital. Around 450 mostly colored illustrations on all topics enrich the book "Sent." The text, written from a scientific perspective, is easily readable and aims to provide both locals and holiday guests with familiar as well as new insights.
