Die vergessenen Rosinen

Author: Steffen Haas Steffen Haas studied communication design and painting in Vienna and Munich. Since the 1990s, he has been telling his comics in live shows in cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, and New York. Four illustrated books and the comic "The Invasion of the Plush Toys" have been published by Knaur Verlag. At Strapazin Munich, he released five more volumes featuring hundreds of strips from the series "The Chick, the Mouse, and the Beer," which he created with Gunter Hansen for the In Magazine Munich. As a curator, Steffen Haas is frequently involved with the youth art project IMAL (International Munich Art Lab), where he also teaches art. He co-curated the exhibitions of IMAL youth at Eksperimenta! in Tallinn in 2011, 2014, and 2017 with Matias Becker. Together with Jörg Loose and the project's youth, he created the installations "Trojan Dachshund" and "Nest of Unhatched Eggs" for the Valentin-Karlstadt Museum in front of the Isartor. In 2021, he curated the exhibition "Mr. Haas Shows Rabbits" at the Valentin-Karlstadt Museum, which also resulted in a catalog. Additional publications have appeared in various magazines and anthologies, through self-publishing, and online under Motionless Movie Productions and Bavarian Beer Cartoons.
