In fact, we are (still) a rare occurrence with our mountain bikes. However, this will surely change in the coming years: almost the entire route is rideable and offers top-notch trail enjoyment against a breathtaking backdrop. In particular, the 1,700 meters of flowing single-trail downhill from the Thorong La Pass down to Muktinath is likely unique in the world, as is Tilicho Lake, which sits at nearly 5,000 meters, making it the highest lake of its size in the world. A unique natural spectacle that we certainly won't miss, and for which we will include a 2-day trekking detour. The book includes detailed route descriptions, including GPS data.
