Chita

No one knows her real name, not even Conchita herself knows who she is and where she comes from. Chita is what the Spanish fisherman Feliu calls her, who one day rescues her from drowning in the arms of her dead mother after a hurricane has ravaged the coast of New Orleans. He and his childless wife Carmen give her a new home. But the happiness they share, while the storm has wiped out entire island villages, destroyed lives, and torn families apart - what does it depend on?
