Bruno, Chef police

Bruno Courrèges - a police officer, gourmet, sports coach, and the most sought-after bachelor in Saint-Denis - is called to the scene of a murder. An Algerian immigrant, whose children live in the area, has been found dead. The victim is a war veteran and recipient of the Croix de Guerre, and because the crime appears to have racist motives, national police authorities are also involved, seeking to exclude Bruno from the investigation. However, he uses his local knowledge and connections, conducts his own investigation, and uncovers the deep-rooted causes of the crime that date back many years.
