Bruch: Durch finstere Zeiten

Prepper scene and police murder. Goldammer skillfully weaves current themes into a strong plot. In the early morning hours, two police officers are shot on a country road near Dresden. The young female officer and the family man were well-liked and unremarkable, and investigators Felix Bruch and Nicole Schauer initially find no leads in their surroundings. Witnesses claim to have seen a black pickup at the crime scene. Its alleged owner leads the investigators into a milieu of doom - to a prepper, a man who believes in the worst-case scenario and meticulously prepares for it. The deeper Bruch and Schauer delve into his world, the more radical the mood of his supporters becomes. When another body is found in the woods, the situation intensifies. However, Bruch is firmly convinced that the solution lies elsewhere entirely.
