Brocéliande, a mythical forest in Brittany, is the setting for many legends about King Arthur and his Round Table. It is also home to a variety of fairy-tale creatures, including the learned goblin Orignace, who finds himself in a predicament: Two uncouth corrigans have invaded his tree-cave and demand that he write a story about them; one in which they are given -- completely against their nature -- heroic roles. Orignace understandably lacks inspiration, and seeks it at Brocéliande, where he can observe young Merlin courting the beautiful Viviane. Through a ruse in which a white stag plays a central role, Merlin aims to get closer to her. But he has made the calculation without three hunters who are searching for prey in the forest.... A modern comic fairy tale full of magic, fairies and goblins, in which well-known characters...
