In the mountains above the Inn Valley, nettles grow wild around the Petererhof. Babette lives here a sparse life after the death of her father and brother. Nettles serve as her food, medicine, and animal feed all at once. Like these untouchable plants, she fiercely defends the farm against all claims. Later, when her lost son Simon returns to the decaying farm, he will make it his home - together with the artist Luisa, who has fled from city life. Ultimately, it is Luisa who will write down the stories surrounding the Petererhof.
