Brandenberger Kloter

A series of residential buildings and four school buildings have been created since 2011 by Basel architects Oliver Brandenberger and Adrian Kloter. They are all characterised by a virtuoso interplay of raw and precisely joined materials. And the renovations are also characterised by a subtle merging of old and new. The most recent examples are the kindergarten and the school in Birrwil: here the materials concrete and wood were combined as if it were a matter of course and thus found a harmonious, poetic expression.
