After a burnout, Cornelius unexpectedly moves back into his parents' house. He quickly finds himself confronted with the life of his unconventional family, from which he thought he had escaped. All he really wants is to return to Berlin, where his fiancée and a good job at an advertising agency are waiting for him. In a few months, he plans to get married in the Seychelles. But then, while taking a walk in the area of a perennial nursery, he runs into Paula, the girl he embarrassed at a dance party twenty years ago, and who, unlike him, still hasn't forgotten it.
