Product details

In this stunning autobiography, George Wethern, vice president of the first Hells Angels chapter in Oakland under biker legend Ralph "Sonny" Barger, recounts his life as an outlaw biker. A life marked by drugs, weapons, violence, and the secret rituals of a brotherhood. Wethern's book also serves as the founding story of the Hells Angels, shockingly illustrating how the early chapters worked hard to earn the bad reputation that now precedes the Hells Angels. Wethern joined the Hells Angels shortly after their founding and remained for 14 years. During this time, he established himself as the club dealer, soon supplying the entire American West Coast with all kinds of drugs. Among other things, he purchased LSD in massive quantities and supplied it to the flower children in the Haight-Ashbury hippie district of San Francisco. For years, Wethern lived in a dangerous environment.
