Mike S. Donovan, alias Blueberry, is the rebellious hero of arguably the most significant series that the comic medium has produced in the Western genre. The work by Jean "Moebius" Giraud and Jean-Michel Charlier debuted in 1963 in the legendary French comic magazine Pilote. Five years later, the Ehapa publishing house brought the adventures of the lieutenant to Germany. Since the launch of the Egmont Comic Collection in 1989, Blueberry has been a permanent part of our program. With the new nine-volume Collector's Edition, the definitive edition of all stories drawn by Jean Giraud is being released in the long-awaited original coloring by fans, along with an extensive editorial section.
