What is it about? At the beginning of the story, Harro Jäger is bullied by a group of Hitler Youth and unexpectedly receives help from his neighbor Heinrich. This acquaintance changes everything for Harro: he becomes part of a group of young people who rebel against the Nazi authority. As friendships within the group deepen, his relationship with his parents deteriorates. Alongside excursions to 'forbidden' places and the publication of pamphlets, the group also outwardly demonstrates that they are different. However, the situation escalates, and Harro and the group realize that their protest actions have consequences. Under inhumane conditions, Harro is mistreated and fears for his life. Will he continue to be part of the group?.
