Spelling: a perennial problem, not only in German lessons. Secondary schools and various studies complain that pupils have increasingly poor spelling skills. Worksheets, class tests and exercise book entries full of spelling mistakes - you probably know this too.

The solution is to practise, practise, practise. But unfortunately, it is a big challenge to get your class excited about it - and there is usually not much time for it.
