Biography work encourages people to reflect, remember and talk about their own lives. Biography work has long been established in the work with elderly people without disabilities. With regard to mentally handicapped people, interest in biography work grows to the extent that the personal view of the people themselves becomes the starting point for their support. The book shows in which form biography work with mentally disabled people is possible and profitable for the participants.
