Bildungsungleichheit im deutsch-argentinischen Vergleich

Education is considered the key to social mobility, yet social inequalities persist stubbornly despite educational policy measures. This book sheds light on how elementary school teachers in Germany and Argentina navigate this complex tension between educational promises and disadvantages. The interviews and analyses conducted by the author reveal, through a binational comparison, how teachers cope with these challenges and what professional self-understanding they have of their work. The study provides deep insights into the complex dynamics of injustice in the classroom and opens new perspectives on the (re)production of educational inequalities.
