Product details
The textbook is intended to accompany lectures in the compulsory subject and deals with the main areas of property law dealt with in exercises and exam questions. As is generally the case when studying civil law, it deals with intellectual, particularly systematic contexts, namely also the legal policy and practical background of legal institutions and conflict solutions. The aim of the new edition is to arouse interest in the specialised questions and to encourage the reader to develop independent solutions. The cases placed at the beginning of each chapter - as is typical for the series - are regularly taken up in the course of the presentation, and the methodical approach required for examination tasks according to the basis of claims can be understood by means of detailed solution sketches. Some changes have been made to the content compared to the previous edition. On the one hand, this concerns loan security law, both in chattel and real estate law, which is of great practical importance, especially in times of low interest rate policy and the associated vitalisation of the property market. In the light of current legal and socio-political developments such as environmental protection, there are increasing differentiations in neighbouring law, which also make it necessary to include the constitutional aspects of property protection in the presentation of the doctrine of property law. The references to procedural and insolvency law have also been emphasised, which means that students specialising in these areas can also use the book in their studies.
