The new commentary deals precisely and in a highly informative manner with the important issues of waiver of inheritance, certificate of inheritance and purchase of inheritance. The European Inheritance Regulation applies to inheritance cases with a foreign connection as of 17.8.2015. Among other things, it contains regulations on the European certificate of inheritance, which supersedes Par. 2353 ff BGB, 342 FamFG in inheritance certificate proceedings with a foreign connection. The commentary also deals with this important change.
