Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) was born in India in 1931. Before emerging as a spiritual teacher, he worked as a philosophy professor at the University of Jabalpur. Since the 1960s, he taught special meditation techniques, attracting a significant following from Western seekers. In 1974, he founded a center for meditation and self-experience in Pune. From 1981 to 1987, he taught in Oregon, USA. Even during his lifetime, his teachings resonated with millions of people around the world. Since his death in 1990, the number of his followers has continued to grow.
