The six issues of a philosophical journal published by K. L. Reinhold between 1801 and 1803 document Reinhold's period of logical realism. More than three quarters of the forty essays are by Reinhold himself. His contributions concern, on the one hand, the elaboration of the system of logical or rational realism, and on the other, philosophical-historical reconstructions and polemics against Fichte, Schelling, Bouterwek, and Hegel. Three essays are signed by Reinhold's comrade-in-arms Christoph Gottfried Bardili. The second and third issues contain an essay by Johann Friedrich Köppen, a reprint of the "Recension von Kant's Critik der reinen Vernunft" from the pen of Johann Georg Hamann, written in 1781 and since then circulated only in a private circle, as well as the first reprint of the treatise "Ueber das Unternehmen des Kriticismus, die Vernunft zu Verstande zu bringen" written by Jacobi - with Köppen's assistance.
