The Act on the Reform of Guardianship and Care Law, which will come into force on 1 January 2023, will lead to a new regulation of almost all areas of care law and the laws on which it is based. The 'Bienwald' - for a long time the standard work for practical legal questions of guardianship law - has been completely revised and newly commented with regard to the amendment. Both the substantive guardianship law of the BGB and the procedural law regulated in the FamFG have been thoroughly revised. The law on remuneration is explained with a systematic introduction to the newly formulated VBVG, and the regulations of the new BtOG are commented on. A top-class team of authors continues the work founded by Mr. Bienwald and still partially commented on by him in the seventh edition in a proven form.
