Profound basic knowledge and its reliable practical application are not everything in administration. Once a process is ready for a decision, a decision must often be issued. There is a lot to consider here - this work, now in its 3rd edition, can be used nationwide and guides the reader safely through this extremely important area of administrative law. The sample texts it contains provide valuable illustrative and practice material that is suitable both for examinations and for interested practitioners. The authors teach law and/or economics full-time at the Lower Saxony Study Institute for Local Administration. As they have all also worked in a local authority, they are able to integrate the experience they have gained there into their teaching, which is reflected in the samples contained in the book. Professor Weidemann was Vice-President of the Lower Saxony School of Public Administration for many years.
