Product details

As part of two model projects at the St. Franziskus Vocational Training Center in Abensberg, funded by the BMAS, a sustainable network for the professional support and inter-company training of young people with autism has been developed over the past few years. Currently, over 300 young people are participating in pre-vocational education programs or training at the BBW. More than half of the graduates have entered the general labor market. It is now beyond doubt that young people on the autism spectrum are capable of training. However, in order for them to realize their potential, suitable framework conditions must be taken into account, and prerequisites need to be established, which were explored throughout the project and are documented in detail in this volume.
