The commentary deals with the new energy law, which has been reshaped in many respects by the legislation of 2016 and the European energy law framework. In view of the renewed complexity of energy law, the wealth of material can only be adequately managed with the help of a large six-volume commentary in order to provide the user of the commentary with a complete, precise and reliable overview of the current legal issues based on administrative practice, case law and literature. The commentaries have been compiled by academics and practitioners from public authorities, companies and law firms under the direction of Professor Säcker. The complete work will be available in 2018.
