Berlin subway lines: U3 - The Wilmersdorf-Dahlem rapid transit line

This volume from our series on the Berlin U-Bahn lines tells the story of the current U3, which runs from Warschauer Brücke through Nollendorfplatz and Wittenbergplatz towards Krumme Lanke, thus connecting City-West with Wilmersdorf and Dahlem in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district. It was developed between 1913 and 1930 as an additional branch of the small-profile network, but has only been designated "U3" since 2004. Numerous color and black-and-white photos illustrate the fascinating history, and each U-Bahn station is described in detail.
