In February 2021, women in Switzerland celebrate the 50th anniversary of their voting rights. This book honors the numerous achievements of Swiss women, highlights their fates, and showcases their strengths. Short biographies provide insight into the lives of fifty contemporary and historical women who inspire and fascinate. Each biography is illustrated in color by Swiss illustrator Michelle Lachausse: spies, activists, entrepreneurs, entertainers, politicians, athletes, midwives, mothers...
