Counselling means shaping and accompanying processes that support clients in generating their own solutions from within themselves. This agogic concept is the basic attitude and recognised basis of various accompanying professions such as mediation, supervision or coaching. It also corresponds to the idea of competence development at KODE®. The professional practice of guidance requires special competences. In this volume, counselling competence is developed using mediation as an example. The central question is what constitutes professional counselling competence and how it can be determined. Empirical data and the KODE®X method form the basis for this. The book offers background knowledge and inspiration for practical work and for the further development of one's own counselling activities.
