Product details
Ben's story is about the adventures of a modern treasure hunter. The successful IT specialist dives into the virtual world of nuclear power plants, where he searches for data that would reveal hidden scandals about covered-up defects like those at Fukushima-Daiichi. Ben is a dropout of the modern kind. The loner decided on his new life on the evening of the Fukushima disaster, March 11, 2011. In a spectacular way, he starts a new life in the following months, travels to Japan to the disaster area and meets people there who, like himself, are convinced that something must be done about the indifference and cynicism of the modern world. He experiences in his own body the radiation in the restricted area, not tangible, but only readable as numbers from Geiger counters, he moves in the landscape abandoned by the inhabitants, where volunteers come to help.
