Beluga-P2-Klasse

The P2 class (P2-800 class, P2-1400 class) is a comprehensive class of ten multipurpose heavy lift vessels from the German project and heavy lift shipping company Beluga Group. It is subdivided into the four-vessel P2-800 class and the P2-1400 class, which was originally intended to include 10 vessels, but now only six will be built. The vessels of the P2-800 class are equipped with heavy lift gear with a lifting capacity of up to 800 tons SWL and have a deadweight tonnage of 20,100 tdw. The P2-1400 class has a lifting capacity of 1,400 tons SWL and a deadweight tonnage of 19,400 tdw.
