Belli:Weltreise Italien: Mission Riesen

Like every summer, we go on holiday to our Italian grandparents in Assisi and then to the Adriatic. But this year everything is different. Mum is working on a cookbook, Dad is learning Italian and Luca has to train for a swimming competition, which puts him in a bad mood right from the start. Stella is no less bad-tempered because her nonna has moved her out in favour of her German friends. There's quite a lot going on until everyone pulls together and works hard against the weather, fears and other adversities in favour of friendship and a big party. They travelled via Pisa to Assisi and on to the Tremiti Islands and Gargano - with a few days in Rome in between. Not only beaches and the sea, but also rafting, Luna Park, pasta production and beach hut construction and life in Bella Italia in general are far more than just a backdrop on this travelling adventure through Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio and Apulia.
