Everything is in good hands
An old man sits lonely and alone on the moon. Behind a counter, he manages memories, ideas, wishes, and dreams that have not been fulfilled or completed. In a large storage area, he sorts, repairs, cares for, and organizes what remains of them, because sometimes – though rarely – someone comes by to pick them up again.
When a little girl stands in front of his counter, he initially feels disturbed. But the girl does not take no for an answer. She takes the broom in her hand and makes herself useful.
Before long, she becomes an indispensable help to the old man, her company an unexpected joy. When he finally grows tired and ill, the now older girl takes over the "whole shop." Now the old man can calmly and peacefully decide on his final journey.
Everything is good... Everything is in good hands... Everything will continue...
A book also for grandparents who wonder why the time spent with their grandchildren brings them such joy and is so valuable. A book that encourages the safeguarding of dreams and ideas, even if they cannot be realized right away. Because sometimes someone comes along who keeps them alive.
