Begegnungen German as a Foreign Language A1+ to B1+ is a modern and communicative teaching resource in multiple parts, aimed at adult learners who wish to learn German quickly and effectively. It is clearly structured, allowing learners to engage with the material independently and easily. The teaching resource is designed to meet the linguistic, content-related, and intellectual requirements of adult learners starting from language level A1.

Begegnungen A1+ integrates the course and workbook into a single volume. It is available in two parts as well as in a complete edition, with both formats containing the same content. Each part consists of 4 chapters: Part 1 - Chapters 1 to 4; Part 2 - Chapters 5 to 8. Each part includes an appendix with the solutions to the exercises. Part 2 also contains a preparatory test for the language exam and a summary overview of the structures covered.

Begegnungen A1+ includes numerous exercises for training listening comprehension. The audio files needed for this can be listened to offline on mobile devices using our free audio app. Additionally, the audio files are also available online.

Begegnungen A1+ leads to language level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and prepares learners for all exams at the A1 level.
