It started with an insult. Christian Bachler, who manages the highest farm in Styria, scolded the "head bobo" Florian Klenk (bobo = eco-smoker) in a video from the pigsty. The editor-in-chief of the Falter had previously approved a judgement that obliged a farmer to pay damages after his cow had killed a woman. Bachler invited Klenk to do an internship on his farm, and the farmer and the bobo got to talking: about climate change, the meat industry, agricultural policy and banks. When Bachler's farm was facing ruin at the end of 2020, the two friends from two worlds found 12,829 donors within 24 hours who were willing to help.
