With a cover made from sustainable AppleSkin (apple leather) and a robust zipper, the Bible is well protected while also boasting an elegant appearance. The distinctive BasisBible design featuring the surrounding cross is embossed in a color-coordinated pattern that matches the cover material. AppleSkin is a sustainable, leather-like upcycling material made largely from apple waste from the food industry. Together with an organic binder, it not only results in a 100% sustainable material but also provides a genuine alternative to conventional synthetic leathers that are petroleum-based, thus conserving valuable resources. The Bible case has been handcrafted in Germany by Kalos exclusively for the BasisBible. It is perfectly sized for the compact editions (book format 14.3 x 20.3 cm, item numbers 0910, 0911, 0912, 0913, 0914).
