The textbook "Commercial Control and Management" for training in warehouse logistics professions is based on the framework curriculum for warehouse specialists. It combines the two books "Operational Value Processes" and "Specialized Calculations" into one volume and covers all mathematical content from learning fields 1 to 12. It is divided into the areas of bookkeeping and specialized calculations, with the specialized calculations section further divided into business calculations, warehouse controlling, and freight calculations. The book is characterized by a clear structure and very understandable language. It is suitable for use nationwide as well as in Baden-Württemberg and is also appropriate for self-study. The chapter structure includes: problem statement and factual presentation, explanation (using sample tasks, sample solutions, and solution steps), summary, and practice exercises. Updates and new features in the 13th edition 2024 include: legal changes in social security, a new minimum wage, new toll calculations effective from January 1, 2024, and new postal fee rates. Additionally, the renaming of Deutsche Post DHL Group to DHL Group is taken into account.
