While the Cretan police are working to investigate the crash of a twin-engine plane in the Ida Mountains that resulted in the deaths of three people, private detective Jak Anatolis is tasked with searching for the kidnapped daughter, Rita, of Emmanouil Frenakis, the owner of a chemical factory in Chania. As the kidnappers not only demand a ransom but also insist on the closure of the factory, Jak becomes interested in the environmental organization Protect the Nature of Crete, which has recently become active on the island. When he learns that the crashed plane is registered to his client's company, it also comes under scrutiny in his investigation. Is there a connection between the mysterious death flight in Ida and the kidnapping? As in the first case, Jak enjoys Raki, women, and playing with the police in his second case as well. But who will have the last laugh?.
