Baci da Venezia

The architect Paolo Scalia is worried: he hasn't heard from his sister Emilia in weeks. Instead, he receives mysterious postcards that only say "Baci da Venezia." He travels to Venice to search for Emilia. On the train, Paolo meets the young journalist Lisa, who wants to help him. In Venice, Commissioner Croci is also investigating several puzzling crimes. Eventually, one of the dubious individuals from Emilia's circle will make a mistake, leading the Commissioner onto the right track. The book also includes an audio CD with the story's audio text, dossiers about the Grand Canal, the Rialto Bridge, and crime films in cinemas, activities to promote the four communicative skills, and exercises to prepare for the CELI 2 exam (B1).
