Business analysis consists of a series of tasks and techniques aimed at understanding the strategies, structures, goals, tasks, and processes of an organization. The interplay of all involved internal and external stakeholders is focused on ensuring that companies meet market demands while achieving their operational objectives. To accomplish this, the necessary resources, procedures, and processes must be provided. Identifying and implementing the requirements of various internal and external stakeholders is key to the successful work of the business analyst. The Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Guide 3.0 includes a description of generally accepted practices and approaches, which have now been developed in their third edition in collaboration with a wide range of practitioners and experts from around the world.
