As a specialist in general medicine who has herself completed a doctorate on an Ayurvedic topic, I am particularly pleased that Amrit Mitterer advocates for a deeper scientific engagement and better integration of Ayurveda into our medical system in her present book. To facilitate this, the author contributes by clarifying many widespread uncertainties and misunderstandings.
