Ayla und der Stein des Feuers

Ayla has arrived at the destination of her long journey, in Jondalar's homeland among the Zelandoni in the land of caves. Jondalar is joyfully welcomed by his family, but there is mistrust towards Ayla. Who is the strange woman with a huge wolf by her side that obeys her every command, who knows more about the healing powers of nature than the tribe's priestesses, and who possesses a stone that allows her to create fire? Especially Jondalar's former fiancée confronts Ayla with hostility and repeatedly tries to humiliate the stranger. However, her cruel jests only strengthen Ayla's determination to befriend Jondalar's people. Then, during a dangerous bison hunt, one of the men is seriously injured. Ayla selflessly helps him and earns the recognition of the people. Now she is allowed to attend the spiritual sessions to seek the soul of Jondalar's brother.
