Avant Skincare Eternauta
German, Johann Ulrich, Héctor G. Oesterheld, Wente Claudia, 2016Product details
Salvo is sitting with his wife, daughter, and friends playing cards when it begins to snow. The snow falling on the city is deadly; its poison seeps through every crack, and anyone who comes into contact with it dies instantly. Aliens have invaded Buenos Aires, using the snow, giant insects, and enslaved beings from another planet to kill the city's inhabitants or turn them into robotic humans. Juan Salvo and his friends are among the few survivors. They decide to fight against the overwhelming enemy. A battle in which Juan Salvo risks not only his own life but also that of his family... It is almost inconceivable not to view Eternauta by Héctor Germán Oesterheld (born 1919, presumably murdered in 1978) as an astonishingly prescient portrait of Argentine society under military dictatorship.
